Mary Low and Juan Breá’s Red Spanish Notebook was originally published by Secker & Warburg (London, 1937), and was reprinted by City Lights Books in 1979 with a new Introduction by E. Granell. That reprint has long been out of print, and used copies are rare and prohibitively expensive. I have posted this PDF as a public service, so that more readers can access this remarkable historical document, one of the most vivid and valuable accounts of the Spanish revolution.
